Unplanned Incident - Intermittent Packet Loss

Customers may be experiencing packet loss or slow speeds and drops in connectivity due to backhaul performance degradation.

Lightwire core engineers have identified the issue and are working with the backhaul upstream provider on the investigation and resolution.

We will provide more information as soon as possible.

Risk Warning - Mains Outage - Waingaro Road Repeater

Lightwire has been made aware of a mains power outage at our Waingaro Repeater site. The site is currently running via it's backup battery system but there is the possibility of a service outage for customers in the region if the mains power outage lasts longer than our backup battery system. Currently we have enough battery backup on site to last until mid afternoon.

We are investigating the issue and will provide any updates once we receive them.

Notification of Unplanned Carrier Outage

Lightwire has been made aware that an upstream provider of ours has an unplanned outage as of this morning. They are currently investigating the issue, and service should return once the outage is resolved.
