3:32pm NZT - We are seeing services come back online in the region, however with the continued severe weather, disruptions to power may be experienced in the future. If your power has come back online but your internet connectivity has not been restored, please reach out to our support team for further assitance.

[2023-02-13 13:55:34 NZDT] 1:55pm NZT - We are continuing to monitor the situation in the region however power disruptions still appear to be widespread with no ETA on restoration times for the local power companies.


[2023-02-13 12:04:41 NZDT] 12:01pm NZT - A correction to our previous update, this outage is not limited to fibre customers and is affecting a variety of Lightwire services leading us to believe that these outages are related to power outages in the Pokeno, Miranda and Coromandel regions. The information is corroborated by power outages reported by WEL Networks and Counties Energy. We will continue to monitor the situation however we have no ETA on when power will be restored to the area.


[2023-02-13 11:06:47 NZDT] 11:04am NZT - Please be advised that we are seeing alerts for a number of fibre services go offline in New Zealand's North Island region. Engineers are currently investigating and trying to determine the root cause, more updates will be provided as we learn more


[2023-02-13 10:57:46 NZDT] Lightwire Engineers are investigating a potential issue affecting Lightwire services. We don't have much detail just yet sorry, but senior engineers are looking into it with urgency and we will provide more information as soon as possible.

[2023-02-12 13:38:24 NZDT] An upstream provider has identified a fault which they're currently working to restore, this has resulted in total loss of service. We will keep you updated as the incident progresses.

Our upstream provider has specified that there will be delays before they can attend this site because of Health & Safety concerns due to the impending cyclone.

Lightwire technicians have completed equipment replacement and we do not expect any further disruptions to your service at this point. Engineers will monitor this fix for stability before resolving this fault notification.
