Lightwire engineers have discovered a piece of equipment on site that is showing signs of imminent failure. While the site is still performing as expected, Lightwire technicians will be attending site to proactively replace the equipment today to mitigate future issues, should the equipment fail.

Customers will experience a full outage for up to an hour as our technicians work hard to replace the equipment.

Lightwire engineers have been made aware of an incident affecting our Te Weraiti transmission site. Lightwire engineers have located the cause of this and have implemented resolution to fix this temporarily while further investigation is underway

Affected customers would have experienced periodic loss of service until Lightwire engineers located and implemented the fix at around 11:08am today
