Service Degradation - Rotoorangi

Our upstream fribre provider has concluded their maintenance and full fibre capacity has been restored to our transmission site. We will continue to monitor for service stability for a period of time tonight and resolve this notification once we have confirmed there will be no further fibre disruptions.

[2022-03-10 15:40:26 NZDT] Lightwire has been informed that fibre maintenance work being performed by our upstream fibre provider has extended past the expected scheduled time-frame. This directly affects our Rotoorangi transmission site and due to the loss of fibre capacity you may experience speed degradation during peak hours while our upstream fibre provider concludes their works.

Equipment Fault - Kereone

Lightwire engineers are investigating equipment faults at our Kereone transmission site. A Lightwire technician will need to be dispatched to site to investigate further as we are unable to resolve the issue remotely.

Risk warning - Mains Outage - Waihi Area

Dear Customer

Lightwire has been informed of a mains power outage affecting a number of our transmission sites in the Waihi area. While we have battery backup on site, you may experience a complete loss of service or a degraded speeds in the event of an extended power outage or for reasons outside of Lightwire's control.

Degraded Service - Waihi Area

Lightwire has been made aware of a fibre cut affecting our Waihi transmission site. Due to this, you may notice degraded services during peak hours as our network uses redundant paths.

Degraded Service - Matata area

Lightwire engineers have been informed of a service interruption at our Matata Tower. Connections nearby will likely experience slower speeds and degraded service during this time. Lightwire engineers are currently investigating the cause of this incident to provide a resolution as soon as possible.
