We have an update from 2degrees. Changes have been made on their platform and this issue seems to have been resolved. Lightwire engineers will monitor for 24 hours to confirm the resolution.

[2026-03-31 08:47:32 NZDT] This issue is unfortunately still occuring, and continuing to be escalated with the relevant carriers.


[2026-03-19 13:36:07 NZDT] Lightwire has been assured that the originating network will provide an update to this issue by Close of Business today (19/03/2026)


[2026-03-12 08:19:07 NZDT] Lightwire's voice engineers have identified a possible issue impacting inbound calls originating from the 2Degrees mobile network. A small number of calls are being disconnected after 20 seconds of connection in specific situations. This appears to only impact calls that are automatically answered, for example by an IVR or Auto Attendant.

Lightwire is working with our Interconnect Partner to resolve this with the originating mobile network.
