[2025-02-18 11:13:34 NZDT] A Lightwire tower in the Te Akau/Waingaro area has developed a critical fault with equipment that has caused the site to go offline.

All customers in this region will currently be experiencing a full outage to their services. Lightwire engineers are configuring replacement equipment for a technician to the site today in order to restore services.

Power Outage - Horsham Downs Area

There is currently a power outage in the Horsham Downs area that is impacting the power supply to the site serving your internet connection.

Customer connections will remain online as long as the redundant battery backup continues to power the site. However, if the mains is not restored in a timely fashion, the site may run out of backup, which will result in full service disruption until mains are restored.

[2025-02-18 03:45:35 NZDT] A Lightwire tower has developed a critical fault with equipment that has caused the site to go offline. This will be impacting a number of towers servicing the wider Waihi area.

All customers in this region will currently be experiencing a full outage to their services. Lightwire engineers are configuring replacement equipment for a technician to take to site first thing in the morning to investigate and remedy the fault.
