Degraded Performance Roto-o-rangi Region

Lightwire Engineers have been made aware of an issue at our Roto-o-rangi site causing degraded performance to your connection. This may result in lower speed/performance until our field team reach the site to replace the faulty piece of equipment. Unplanned Outage - Risk of Service disruption

Latest update:

Lightwire Engineers have restored the site to a functional level within this region earlier today. To ensure the site does not repeat the same fault it is pending equipment replacement. There is a possible risk of loss of service for the region until the affected equipment has been replaced.

The site is being monitored by the Lightwire engineering team for any further outages so we can minimise further downtime in the event of any further loss of service.

Risk Warning - Maungatautari Fibre Cut

Our upstream fibre provider has completed repairs on the fibre cut and services have been restored to normal.

[2022-05-22 14:23:54 NZST] Lightwire has been informed of a major fibre cut affecting our Maungatautari transmission site. Our upstream fibre provider has technicians on site assessing repairs but is unable to provide an ETA on service restoration.

Customers may experience degraded speeds during peak hours as our network utilizes backup paths until fibre services are restored.
