Site Offline - Ruapuke Region

Lightwire Engineers are currently investigating a fault at our Ruapuke transmission site causing an outage to your connection.

We are unable to resolve this remotely, so will be sending a Field Technician to site first thing tomorrow morning.

Notification of Unplanned Carrier Outage

The Upstream Carrier has confirmed that the fault has been resolved now.

[2025-08-23 11:31:47 NZST] An Upstream Carrier has made us aware of fault on their network that may cause loss of service or drop-outs. Their technicians are urgently investigating this, but have not yet provided an ETR.

Site Outage - Paewhenua

Lightwire engineers have been alerted to equipment failure at our Paewhenua transmission site. They have been unable to restore this equipment remotely. A Lightwire technician will be attending site as soon as possible this morning to investigate and remediate the issue.

We apologise for any inconveniences this may be causing and are working hard to restore services to normal as quickly as possible.
