Unplanned Incident - Chorus LFC Outage

The Upstream Carrier has confirmed that this fault has been resolved now, and all connections should be restored. The outage appears to have been caused by accident during other planned works on-site.

No further disruptions are expected here, so if your connection remains offline, please reboot all on-site equipment. Failing that, reach out to our Support Team on 0800 534 567.

[2025-06-06 12:11:46 NZST] An LFC technician has been assigned to the fault and is currently sourcing spares. Current ETA is 13:30hrs 06/06/2025


[2025-06-06 12:00:12 NZST] As of 11:46 am, the LFC Technician has been dispatched to the fault area to investigate. The Fault appears to be located within the Courtney Place region.

[2025-06-06 11:24:31 NZST] Lightwire Engineers have been made aware of a carrier issue affecting large parts of the national network. We are slim on details at the moment but we have ruled out Lightwire Network specific issue. We will provide updates as they come through to us.
