One of Lightwire's technician attended site to scope what the issue might be for reparation. They have been able to fix the fault while attending site.

[2023-03-26 11:38:29 NZDT] Customers connected to the Lightwire site servicing the Wharepūhunga and Maihiihi Region will currently be offline due to a site fault.

Lightwire technicians will only be able to respond to the fault tomorrow morning (Monday 27th March) with the appropriate equipment for remediation.

We apologise for the disruption to your services and will be working hard to get them back up and running tomorrow as soon as possible.

Lightwire technicians have replaced the faulty equipment and the transmission site is online again. Your service should now be restored.

[2023-03-23 14:18:39 NZDT] Lightwire engineers and technicians have identified the faulty equipment and have replacement equipment en route to site now from Hamilton.

We apologise for this disruption to service but hope to have the site running again soon.

[2023-03-23 13:49:06 NZDT] Lightwire engineers have been made aware of an issue with our Waipapa & Te Akau Repeater Transmission Sites. The cause of this fault is currently under investigation. We are working hard to get your connection up and running again.

Lightwire Technicians have attended the site and replaced the faulty gear. This should be all resolved now.

History:

[2023-03-22 15:42:23 NZDT] Lightwire Engineers have become aware of a fault at one of our repeater sites affecting it's stability. Engineers are currently investigating the root cause, but until a fix is implemented, you may experience intermittent connection quality.

Lightwire Technicians will be dispatched to address this fault tomorrow.
