Update 1: Engineers have been able to identify the cause of the fault, and have been able to implement a remedial solution. All connections should now be up and running on backup network links without issue. The faulty component will be replaced on Monday by a technician to prevent this from occurring again.

[2023-03-03 12:59:39 NZDT] Lightwire engineers have been made aware of an issue with our Oparau Transmission Site. The site appears to be dropping out intermittently for a yet unknown reason. Due to being linked together, our Mahoe, Honokiwi, Kaimango and Toi Road sites may also be effected. Lightwire Engineers are working hard to investigate and solve, and get your connections up and running again.

Lightwire has been informed by our upstream carrier that emergency maintenance is required on their network during the specified outage window.

There will be up to an outage lasting up to 2 hours during the specified outage window.
