Degraded Service - Waihi Area

Lightwire has been made aware of an equipment fault on our Waihi transmission site. Due to this, you may notice degraded services as our network uses backup paths.

This fault will require a Lightwire Technician to attend and due to a 3rd party being required to access the site we will be attending tomorrow 27/09/2022. We will provide more updates when we can.

Mains Outage Port Repeater

Lightwire has been informed of an outage to mains power supplying the Port Repeater transmission site. This has also depleted our backup battery on site and will require mains power to be restored. They are currently investigating the issue, and service should return once the outage is resolved.
