Risk Warning - Orini

Lightwire is aware that the battery backup at our solar Orini transmission site is nearing depletion due to a number of days of poor weather. Technicians will be attending site today to replenish batteries.

If there is insufficient sunlight before our technicians arrive today the site may power off and you could lose service.

Unplanned Outage - Tauhei Repeater

Lightwire is aware that our Tauhei repeater site is currently offline due to battery backup depletion. The site should resume operation this morning with the incoming daylight but we will be attending today to replenish battery backup manually.

Unplanned Event - Notice of carrier outage

Our upstream provider is conducting an investigation and repairs due to a fault on their network. It is expected that there will be a break in service due to this. No ETR has been given from said provider at this stage, we will update the outage notification if we receive one.

Unplanned Incident - PPPoE Packet Loss

Unplanned incident affecting multiple PPPoE packet loss connections to one of Lighwire BNG's.

Lightwire engineers have investigated and isolated the issue with one of the BNG access links and disabled the interface.

This incident has been resolved. We would like to apologize for any inconvenience caused by this event.

Degraded Service Kaihere Region

Latest update:

Lightwire field technician's have been dispatched to the Kaihere transmission site to replace faulty equipment. There will be an up to 15 minute loss of service shortly as Lightwire technician's make repairs to your tower.

If your service is offline for longer than 15 minutes please attempt to reboot all Lightwire equipment and wait around 5 minutes for it to reconnect. If you connection does not reconnect after this please feel free to call our helpdesk on 0800 12 13 14.
