The affected hardware appears to have become functional overnight. The cause of this is being investigated. Lightwire technicians will still be visiting affected customers to move them where possible to different network technologies.

We would like to advise that Lightwire will be undertaking emergency maintenance between the hours of 10pm (NZDT) on the 17th of October and 5am (NZDT) on the 18th of October this evening to rectify the call quality issues. During this time you may experience several disruptions to voice services while the changes occur.
