Power issues due to weather conditions has caused the Te Weraiti site to lose power, and backup power to deplete. Our engineers are on site replacing backup power supplies and will have the site restored shortly.

Mains power has been lost at a number of wireless repeater sites this morning due to weather conditions.

All sites are currently running on battery backup power but there is a risk of service outage or slow downs in some parts of the network if mains power is not restored in a timely manner.

Our Hamilton-based network operations centre is monitoring the situation closely.

The "Minden" wireless repeater site has lost mains power due to weather conditions. Battery backups extended the run-time of the site however mains power was unable to be restored before battery backups were depleted.

A field technician is on the way to the site now to restore power however, site access may be difficult due to weather conditions.
