Lightwire engineers are aware of an outage affecting our Moerangi tower site, subsequently affecting Okapu, Makomako, and Hauturu transmission sites. This has resulted in a total loss of service for affected customers. Technicians will need to attend the site to replace equipment. No ETA at present.

Lightwire Engineers attended this fault yesterday afternoon, and have replaced the necessary gear. The issue looks to be resolved now, so if you have further issues from here, please reach out to our Support Team at support@lightwire.co.nz or 0800 12 13 14.

History:

[2024-02-07 15:47:33 NZDT] A fault has been detected at one of our Te Pahu sites where Lightwire technicians will be replacing faulty equipment on Thursday 8th of February.

Outage window: Thursday, February 8th between 1300-1600

Expected duration: Customers will experience a service outage of up to 15 minutes in length between 1300 and 1600
