Unplanned Power Outages - Greater Waikaretu Area

Lightwire has been informed of a large power outage in the Waikaretu/Glen Murray/Te Akau areas. While our transmission sites in these areas have backup battery power, there is a chance that in the event of an extended outage or factors outside of Lightwire's control you may lose your connection.At the moment there is no estimated time of repair from the power company.Please feel free to contact us on 0800 12 13 14 if you have any queries

Emergency Maintenance - Pukekawa

Lightwire engineers identified a radio fault at our main Pukekawa transmission site late last night.  We will be performing emergency maintenance today to replace this equipment and remediate the issue. You may experience a brief outage or degraded performance to your connection during the maintenance window.We apologise for the inconvenience and will work to restore your service to normal as soon as possible. Degraded Service - Maramarua Region

Due to an extended power outage in the Maramarua region, customers may be experiencing a degraded service as redundancies kick in.The local power provider has not yet provided an estimated time of restoration. Lightwire will provide updates as we receive them.We thank you for your patience.
