Event - Degraded service - New Zealand

Fibre cut caused sub optimal paths. Engineers have brought forward as an emergency change the planned work to liven up the new Hamilton to Auckland link which just went ready for service a short while back and was still to be scheduled into production.Latency has been restored. While we are still running on diversity, all services are running as normal.

Microsoft is rolling out a mitigation. We're seeing that calling has become stable again.

Horahora School - Mains Power Offline

Lightwire has been informed of an outage to mains power at our Horahora site. There is a chance that in the event of an extended outage, or factors outside of Lightwire's control, this transmission site may use redundant network paths which can result in reduced performance. Lightwire has been informed of an outage to mains power supplying our Lichfield transmission site. While our site has backup battery power there is a chance that in the event of an extended outage into the late evening, or factors outside of Lightwire's control, you could lose your connection.
