Lightwire engineers are aware of a fault at our Otorohanga transmission site causing intermittent outages to your service. Lightwire technicians will be taking replacement equipment to site this morning to investigate and remediate the issue.

[2026-03-03 07:48:09 NZDT] Lightwire engineers are aware of a local power outage affecting mains at our Athenree Gorge transmission site. Mains have been offline since 2am, due to this our battery backup is nearing depletion and the site may fall offline before mains is restored. The local power company is attending the fault and mains is estimated to be restored no later than 12pm today.
