Past Incidents

Investigations in the office have not had any result. A technician is being arranged to visit the transmission site with replacement equipment.

On Wednesday 04th of September a piece of equipment providing network connectivity to Lightwire's Wairakau (WKAU) and Henry Watson Road (HNRY) transmission sites locked up. This outage caused a loss of capacity on the network as traffic was redirected. This was resolved the following morning.

On the evening of Thursday 05th of September it was identified that a second network event causing decreased capacity had occured. A Lightwire technician is visiting the site to identify the cause of this second event, and investigate a solution.

Lightwire experienced a brief partial outage on our Auckland NGA / MDR Handover from 5:15 pm NZDT and 5:20 pm NZDT. Issue resolved without intervention. Ticket open with Chorus for more further root cause investigation.
