Degraded connectivity within BOP

Due to a fibre break at a core part of our network in Tauranga, services are heavily degraded in the BOP region as all connections are moved over to our backup link. A technician has already been dispatched to investigate and fix the fault.

Te Miro Unplanned Outage

Due to an equipment fault some customers connected to the Te Miro (TMRO) Lightwire site may be experiencing a loss of service at this time. Technicians have been dispatched to address the issue. Thank you for your patience.

Puketutu Wimax outage

UPDATE 17/05/18 08:44 - Technicians are expected back on site soon with spare parts. The nature of this fault means that some customers have not lost service at this time, but others have been offline since the fault occurred. There are likely to be multiple short outages for all affected customers while technicians are working through on site work.

Some customers connected to the Puketutu (PKTTU) WiMax service may be experiencing a loss of service at this time. A Lightwire technician is en-route to investigate the fault on site.

Outage in Waihi Beach/ Katikati areas

Due to an equipment fault customers connected to the WIHIBH, WIHIB, GILES, HUTCH, WJCK and ONPT Lightwire transmission sites, in the Waihi, Waihi Beach, and Katikati areas, will be experiencing a loss of service.
