Unplanned Outage - Te Weraiti

Latest update:

Lightwire Field Technicians are on site at the tower, but are unable to proceed with intended repairs due to 120kph+ winds rendering it unsafe to climb the tower.

All safe to implement measures have been taken to ensure the stability of the access point until we can return in better weather. Connections should be online again.

[2026-03-26 11:22:59 NZDT] Lightwire Engineers have been made aware of an unplanned outage affecting one of the access points of our Te Weraiti site.

Our team has been able to partially resolve this issue remotely, but we are sending Field Technicians to site to investigate further.

Until this issue is resolved, connections reliant on this access point may experience degraded performance, or drop completely offline. Further updates will be provided as we learn more information.
