[2025-12-09 15:17:38 NZDT] Lightwire is aware of an outage affecting a small number of customers connected through our Pukemoremore tower site. We are in the process of investigating the cause, and will be working to get this resolved as soon as possible. We have no ETR at this stage.

Our upstream fibre provider has resolved the issue and we can confirm our services have been restored to normal.

History:

[2025-12-04 16:27:36 NZDT] Lightwire engineers are aware of an upstream fiber outage at our Maramarua transmission site. Customers may experience degraded service during peak hours as our network uses backup paths.

An estimated restoration time between 11:00 and 15:00 on Friday, 5th December has been provided by our upstream provider, and we will be working with them to restore services to normal as soon as possible.
