Technical teams are currently splicing replacement fibre cables to restore services affected.
Multiple pairs have since been restored and batches of affected customers will be restored as these are spliced, however there is still no ETR for completion of the works.

The technicians on site have identified 5 damaged fibre cables, they are currently in the process of preparing two cables for splicing. Unfortunately there is no current ETR, updates will follow as we receive them.

Lightwire has been made aware of an unplanned outage affecting our upstream fibre carriers network.
They have lost fibre links between Mt Eden and Massey between Henderson and Massey.
Investigation is underway as of 3:34am and updates will follow as we receive them.
