We have been able to restore service for the time being.We are planning to visit the transmission site later this morning to replace the faulty piece of equipment in order to prevent a recurrence over the holiday period. We expect that there would be a loss of service while this work takes place between 10:30 am and 12:30 pm today.

Lightwire has lost mains power supplying the Maungatautari road transmission site. While our site has backup battery power there is a chance that in the event of an extended outage or factors outside of Lightwire's control, you may experience a degraded connection as our network takes redundant paths. We will be working hard to get you back on line as soon as we can!
